dsh-brief
A DeepSeek Harness plugin that gives
your agent one tool: brief_fetch. It gathers today's raw tech-briefing entries —
Hacker News front page + recently-created high-star GitHub repos — and the agent writes
your morning digest from them.
The division of labor is the point: the plugin fetches what the model cannot reach; the model does the summarizing. Public web APIs only, no background polling, no scheduled jobs — the tool runs when you ask for a brief.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add "github:xiaoshuai1024/dsh-brief#main"
(profile name is yours: web, headless, …)
Use
Just ask, in any session:
来一份今天的技术晨报 / give me today's tech brief
The agent calls brief_fetch, gets the raw entries, and writes the digest. Ask it to
save the result to a file, compare with last week, or filter by keyword — normal agent
work, no plugin change needed.
Configure
In your profile's cordis.patch.yml:
- insert:
- id: dsh-brief
name: 'dsh-brief'
config:
limit: 10 # max entries per source
hnMinScore: 80 # drop HN stories below this score
githubMinStars: 200
githubToken: '' # optional: raises GitHub API rate limits
Extend
Add a source = add one fetcher in lib/sources.js and one entry list in the tool
output (lib/tools.js). Good candidates: arXiv new papers, lobste.rs, an RSS feed you
own. Keep fetchers pure (fetch → JSON, no summarizing).
