UCloud Skill for DeepSeek Harness

This package migrates the ucloud-cli skill to DeepSeek Harness 0.1.0-rc.6. It registers the complete bundled skill and its references; it does not implement a second UCloud API client or a restricted command wrapper.

How It Works

User request
  -> bundled ucloud-cli skill
  -> DSH Bash tool
  -> official ucloud CLI
  -> UCloud API

The skill retains its original ability to inspect, create, update, and delete UCloud resources, initialize OAuth profiles, deploy applications, use product commands, and fall back to ucloud api when required.

Prerequisites

  • DeepSeek Harness 0.1.0-rc.6 with its standard Skill and Bash plugins enabled.
  • Node.js 22 or newer.
  • Official ucloud CLI v0.3.1 or newer available on PATH.
  • An existing UCloud CLI profile or permission to complete ucloud auth login.
  • DSH Bash sandbox and approval settings appropriate for the requested cloud operations.

The package does not read or manage UCloud credentials. Authentication remains the responsibility of the official CLI and its existing profile/OAuth state.

Install

Install the package into the target DSH profile:

dsh plugin --profile <profile-name> add @ucloud-ai/ucloud-dsh-plugin

Add @ucloud-ai/ucloud-dsh-plugin to the profile's bundle list if the profile manager does not do so automatically. The included cordis.patch.yml registers the package as ucloud-skill.

The Skill can then be selected by the model or invoked explicitly as ucloud-cli through the DSH Skill interface.

Permissions

This plugin adds no custom execution tool. All command execution goes through DSH's existing Bash tool, so filesystem, network, mutation approval, and command permissions are controlled by the DSH profile. UCloud-side authorization is controlled by the selected CLI profile's IAM permissions.

Because the original Skill supports real mutations, requests can create billable resources, interrupt services, or delete resources. Production profiles should retain DSH approval prompts and use least-privilege UCloud IAM policies.

Development

npm test
npm run pack:dry-run

Tests only validate Skill registration, packaged references, and bundle metadata. They do not execute ucloud or access a UCloud account.
