dsh-sound-notification

A DeepSeek Harness Web UI plugin that plays a short chime when any session's response finishes — so you hear it even when you're not in front of the machine.

Features

• Distinct two-note sine chimes, for any session — including ones you are not currently viewing:
  • Response finished: rising (880 Hz → 1318.51 Hz)
  • Question / approval asked: down-up (987.77 Hz → 783.99 Hz → 987.77 Hz)
• Speaker badge in the composer dock: click to mute/unmute
• Mute preference persists per browser (localStorage)
• Audio is unlocked on your first click/keypress (browser autoplay policy) and can never take the UI down (all audio paths are exception-guarded)

Install

dsh plugin --profile <your-profile> add github:sviktor75/dsh-sound-notification

No build step is required — the package ships plain JavaScript.

To pin a specific commit (recommended for stability):

dsh plugin --profile <your-profile> add github:sviktor75/dsh-sound-notification#<commit-sha>
