dsh-plugin-midclick-close-tabs

Middle-click closes a tab in the right sidebar of DeepSeek Harness — files, directories, terminals, browser, previews — and float-window title bars too.

The plugin listens for the middle button on the tab strip, then clicks the tab's own close button. Everything the built-in close path does keeps working: terminal process teardown, focus continuity, and the rule that the last docked guide tab cannot close. Middle-click autoscroll is suppressed on tabs only; everywhere else the browser behaves as usual.

Install

Requires dsh 0.2.1-rc.2 or newer.

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-plugin-midclick-close-tabs

Then restart dsh web (or your host) once. Uninstall with dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-plugin-midclick-close-tabs.

How it works

One document-level listener pair (mousedown to suppress autoscroll, auxclick to close), about 30 lines, no dependencies and no private APIs. Tabs are located by the data-dockkit-tab / data-sidebar-right-tab attributes the sidebar already ships; closing goes through the tab's own data-dockkit-tab-close button.

If a future DSH release renames those attributes, the plugin stops matching and does nothing — it cannot close the wrong thing.
