DSH Desktop zero-release-age compatibility plugin
桌面版插件更新等待兼容补丁。仅在启动环境的发布观察期设置为零时运行。它会持久写入当前 profile 的 minimumReleaseAge: 0;卸载不会自动恢复该项,请按需手动恢复。
Install from this public source through the Desktop plugin manager using github:HUISDE/dsh-pnpm-release-age-zero-fix. For a regular web profile: dsh plugin --profile web add github:HUISDE/dsh-pnpm-release-age-zero-fix.
This is a workaround for the observed market policy detector, not a claim of compatibility with every Desktop distribution. It requires an existing readable and writable pnpm-workspace.yaml. Missing files or a failed write leave the environment unchanged. Nonzero environment settings remain untouched.
The Desktop launcher can provide pnpm_config_minimum_release_age=0 to its package manager. The market's update-policy detector scans the Host process environment and cannot distinguish this launcher default from an unknown externally-managed policy.
When that exact variable is present with value 0, this plugin:
- Reads the active Desktop profile directory from
desktopProfiles.current.dirwhen the Desktop bridge exposes it, withDSH_PROFILE_DIRas the launcher's standard fallback. - Mirrors the effective Desktop setting as a top-level
minimumReleaseAge: 0in that profile'spnpm-workspace.yaml, preserving the rest of the file. - Removes only the matching zero-valued alias from the Host process environment so the market can read the explicit profile policy. The process variable is restored when this plugin is unloaded.
It does nothing when the Desktop variable is absent or nonzero. The profile setting is persistent so the market and pnpm agree on the same policy after restart. If you later remove this plugin and want to restore the former release-age policy, edit minimumReleaseAge in the Desktop profile's pnpm-workspace.yaml.
