dsh-desktop-eac-default-skins

Canonical source for the DSH-Desktop-EAC v6 system.default@2.0.0 Skin artifact.

This package is not a shell-skin bundle. It provides six independently selectable region contributions: top-sidebar, bottom-sidebar, left-sidebar, right-sidebar, session, and overlay. popup, dialog, and floating-window remain host instance kinds and are not copied as a host registry.

The package contract is owned by dsh-ui-skin-manager. The source is split into packages/system-default/regions/<slot>/ contributions and shared tokens. Host topology, active registry, main.rs, bridge.ts, exit-overlay.js, AIO, and third-party legacy skins are deliberately excluded. The reproducible .dshpack artifact is the official EAC distribution container; it carries one declared SkinPackage payload and does not replace the manager's inner contract or validation.

Verify and build

Run these commands from this repository after installing Node.js 22 or newer:

The package uses the MIT license. THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md is empty of entries because the initial artifact contains no separately licensed third-party material. A NOTICE file is intentionally absent until a real attribution or distribution obligation is found.

v6 is incompatible with v5. This repository does not provide automatic updates or a runtime watcher; consumers must use an immutable artifact and digest.
